The exhibition Luce d’inverno, dedicated to Ingegerd Råman’s glass and ceramics, which will be inaugurated on the 25th of November at 6 p.m.
One of the most prestigious designstores in Italy, Spazio Sette was founded in Rome more than thirty years ago.Located in a patrician palace of the 17th century, Spazio Sette has ever since been one of the leading sites for contemporary design, both Italian and international, with a special focus on Scandinavian design.
The presentation in Rome is partly replicating the exhibition dedicated to Ingegerd Råman that took place at the Millesgården Museum in Stockholm a year ago, focusing on the glass produced by Orrefors and the tableware produced by Figgjo and Gustavsberg.

Photo Per LarssonThe latest spectacular art-pieces produced by Orrefors will be displayed as well as the exquisite pewter items recently edited by Svenskt Tenn, giving to the Roman public the unique opportunity to know better one of Sweden’s most beloved designers.
Being it a significant event for the improvement of the knowledge about Swedish design in Italy, the exhibition has received the patronage of the Swedish Embassy in Rome and is sponsored by SAAB Automobile AB, with the support of Orrefors AB, HPF i Gustafsberg AB, Figgjo AS and Svenskt Tenn.
